Terms of service
The rules for using Miniwall, in plain English: what you can do, what you own, and what we promise and do not.
Last updated: October 7, 2026
1.The service
Miniwall lets you design screens in a visual editor and show them on your website with our SDK. It includes the dashboard and editor, the Web SDK, the delivery and analytics services behind them, and this site. We call all of that the service.
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you confirm you can accept them on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2.Accounts and security
You need an account to use the dashboard. Give us a working email address, keep your password private, and tell us at hello@miniwall.app if you think your account or an API key was exposed. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what teammates you invite do within the role you give them.
Public API keys are meant to be placed in your website. Secret keys must stay on your servers. You can revoke a key in the dashboard at any time.
3.Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
- show deceptive, fraudulent or harmful screens, including ones that mislead visitors about prices, trials, renewals or how to cancel;
- collect personal data from visitors without telling them as the law requires;
- send malware or attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or work around plan limits or access controls;
- resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.
We may remove content or limit access that breaks these rules, and we will say why when we can.
4.Your content
Your content is the screens, text, images, settings and data you put into the service. You own it. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it and deliver it to the visitors of the sites where you place it, only to run the service for you.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, and that your use of the SDK on your site follows the laws that apply to you, including telling your visitors about it. For data about your visitors, you are the controller and we process it for you, as described in the privacy policy.
5.Miniwall does not process payments
Miniwall renders screens. It does not take payments, hold money, set your prices or act as the seller of your products. Prices shown on a screen and the checkout that follows come from your website and your payment provider. The sale is between you and your customer, and you are responsible for it, including taxes, refunds and consumer law.
The SDK can report that a purchase happened so analytics can count it. We rely on what your site reports and do not check it.
6.Plans and limits
Plans are flat and priced by views, never by a share of your revenue. A view is one screen appearing on your site. Previews from the dashboard, preview links, screens that fail to load and placements skipped by targeting do not count. The plans, prices and limits are on our pricing page; the Free plan includes 10K views a month.
Views are counted per calendar month in UTC. If a project reaches its limit:
- screens that are live keep showing, and we do not charge overage fees automatically;
- you get a 7-day grace period in which everything keeps working;
- after it, if the project is still over the limit, paid features such as A/B tests, schedules, audiences and preview links pause while your data is kept. On the Free plan, publishing new versions and creating new placements pause instead;
- the count starts again at the new month, or sooner if you move to a bigger plan.
We may change plans, prices and limits. A change to the price of a plan you already pay for takes effect at your next billing period, and we will tell you before it does. Payment for paid plans is handled by a payment provider and is shown to you when you buy.
7.Availability and support
We work to keep the service running and fast, but we do not promise it will be available all the time or free of errors, and we do not offer an uptime commitment on standard plans. Maintenance, provider outages and the internet can interrupt it. Because screens come from our servers, make sure your site still works if a screen does not load. Your site's own flow should not depend on a screen appearing. Support is through the public issue tracker and by email at hello@miniwall.app.
8.Our intellectual property
The service, its code, design, templates, name and logo belong to Miniwall and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and to run the SDK on your websites while you are entitled to use the service. Templates are yours to use in your screens. Please send us feedback; we may use it without obligation to you.
9.Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@miniwall.app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, put the service or others at risk, or if we have to stop offering the service. When we can, we will give notice first.
After your access ends, screens you published may stop loading. Sections of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as content ownership, disclaimers and liability, do.
10.Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error free or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not promise any particular result for your conversions or revenue.
11.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Miniwall is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim arose, or to zero if you use the free plan. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will tell account holders by email or in the dashboard before they apply. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
