Facts

Miniwall facts

Miniwall is a remote screen platform for product and growth teams: design paywalls, upgrade screens, banners, onboarding and cancel surveys in a visual editor and show them on a website or in an app with one SDK, so you can change them without a deploy. It draws the screen only: your own checkout takes the payment.

1.Who it is for

Miniwall is for teams that already take payments, with Stripe, Paddle or their own backend, and sell subscriptions on the web or in mobile apps. Those teams use Miniwall to change the screens people see at key moments, such as buying, onboarding and cancelling, without shipping a release. Product and growth teams edit them; developers install the SDK once.

2.What it does not do

Miniwall does not:

  • process payments
  • hold a product catalog
  • manage subscribers or entitlements
  • send email or push notifications
  • pin tooltips to elements on a page

Your site sets the prices and takes the payment. Miniwall tells your code which package was chosen.

3.When another tool may fit better

If you do not have billing yet, a tool that bundles billing, subscription status and paywalls covers more for you. Miniwall draws the screen only, so you need a way to take payments before it helps.

4.Plans and pricing

Miniwall is priced by views, never a share of revenue. A view is one screen appearing on your site. Plans reset each calendar month (UTC). Prices are in US dollars. Yearly billing pays for 10 months and gives 12: two months free.

Over the limit, your live screens keep showing. Miniwall warns you at 80% and at 100%, then gives you 7 days. After that, paid features pause until next month or until you upgrade. On Free, you cannot publish new versions or add placements until then. Nothing is deleted.

5.SDKs

Miniwall has one SDK for each platform. Each row shows the latest released version.

Mobile SDKs are early (0.1.x): pin the version. While the major version is 0, a minor release may include breaking changes.

The SDK repositories are public on GitHub. The Web SDK package, @miniwall/web, is MIT-licensed. The visual editor and the hosted service are not open source.
