A feature launch announcement that doesn't block the page

Tell people about the new thing while they are already in your product. A corner card with a headline, one paragraph on why it matters, and a button to look or watch. The page stays usable behind it.

Try it. This is the real thing.

The phone runs the same open-source Web SDK your site would load, with the template exactly as it ships. Tap a button and see what your code would receive. Prices here are examples; your site passes the real ones.

The button below shows it the way it appears on a site: pinned over the page.

Loading the live demo

Tap anything, and scroll inside the phone for the rest. Your site gets the event.

When to use it

  • The day a feature or product ships.
  • A big release that deserves more room than a banner.
  • When you want existing users to see it without an email.

What goes on it

  • A short label like Now live.
  • The feature name as a large headline.
  • One paragraph on why it matters to the person reading.
  • A See what's new button and a Watch demo button.

Set it up in three steps

  1. Start from the Launch Slide-in template

    Write the name and one paragraph. Set where each button goes: a docs page, a changelog, or a video.

  2. Choose how it shows

    In Display, pick Slide-in and a corner. Show it when the page loads, and pick the pages that fit, like your dashboard. Add a limit such as once per visit.

  3. Schedule it

    Give the placement a start date so it appears on launch day, and an end so it goes away on its own. Schedules are on Indie and up.

The code on your site

Prices and checkout stay in your product. The screen itself comes from Miniwall, so a new version reaches your site without a release.

Add this once, on every page
UIKit.configure({ apiKey: "pk_..." });

// Each placement shows itself by the rule you set in Display.
// openChangelog and openDemoVideo are your own functions.
UIKit.startAutoPlacements({
  onAction: ({ actionId }) => {
    if (actionId === "see_launch") openChangelog();
    if (actionId === "watch_demo") openDemoVideo();
  },
});

Good to know

Does it send an email or push notification?
No. It shows only to people who open your website or product while it is live. Miniwall does not send email or push.
Will people see it again after closing it?
That is up to the limit you set. New automatic placements start at once per session, and you can change it in Targeting.
